Our Story

Robbie and I met in September 2006 at BYU, where we were in the same Family Home Evening group. After our very first conversation, I went back to my apartment and told my roommates, "Robbie is pretty dang cool...". And that was the beginning of a great friendship! We quickly became very close friends and in December of that year we started officially dating. After a few months of dating, we decided timing was a little off and we took a little hiatus from dating each other.

Although it was a big trial for us to be apart from each other, it has actually turned out to be a really big blessing. It made us realize how important we were to each other and it helped us appreciate each other even more. During the time of our break up, we never stopped being great friends. But in August 2007 we decided that we still had very deep feelings for each other. We couldn't stay "just friends" anymore and on December 28th, we tied the knot!

After our wedding we went back to BYU and finished up our last semester of college. After our graduation, we moved up to Boise to work and spend time around my family before we had to take off for dental school. We spent a year up there and then in June of 2009 we moved down to Las Vegas where Robbie is currently going to dental school.

And that brings us to now! Life hasn't always been easy, and we know there will continue to be trials. But it is all so much better now that we have each other!
